Symptom: Is not on. Fuse is normal.
Cure: R702 3.9R 7W is open and shorted transistor Q701 2SD1884.

Samsung VM3015 color tv & VCR combination

Symptom: No raster, just squeal from power supply.
Cure: HOT was shorted and R417 fusible resistor 1 ohm 1/2 watt open. Even though open fusible resistor kept voltage from HOT, power supply still squealed because of overvoltage. Found bad capacitor C810; 470ufd 16 volts in feed back circuit of switching power supply. Replaced capacitor and voltages came back down to normal, squealing stopped.

Samsung 5038 ZR

Symptom: Not frames.
Cure: check a R410 (RF 1W 1R ).

Sony KV-M2540 B, D, E, K, KV-M2541 A, D, E, K, L, U Chassis BE-3B.

Symptom: Is not on. Fuse is open.
Cure: Check D600, C603, IC600.
Symptom: Is not on. Fuse is normal.
Cure: Check R631, R642, C603, D600, IC600, R647, R600, D601, R605, Q601, D603, C607, R606.
Symptom: The raster weakly glows. It size is 1/3 from normal. The picture is low contrast and only monochrome. No sound and no symbol information on screen. It was a malfunction in the chip of memory.
Cure:
- turn on 59 channel from remote control.
- turn on ordinary mode.
- turn off from power.
- turn on.
- move over to service mode push follow buttoms in remote control: ?, 5, VOL+, Turn on TV.
- push in the remote control buttoms 4, 1, 1, 5.
- turn off.
- turn on.
- adjust geometry, raster, balance of white, AFT, AGC.

Symptom: Is not on. Fuse is open.

Symptom: Is not on. Fuse is normal.

Symptom: The picture is estability.

Symptom: Not frames.
Cure: Check C405, R40, IC401.
